This is an OLD SITE

GO TO THE UPDATED SITE with all three strains: HB3, 3D7, and Dd2 and all the same search functions.

A step-by-step guide to the IDC website:
Search page (continued.)

Selecting a search type:
With this search page, a variety of queries can be performed. The top half of the search page contains the main search options. As shown below, there are four different search options as well as a text box for entering specific search words.

In the first row, the left pull-down option can be used to search the IDC data by: PlasmoDB ID, PlasmoDB description, Oligonucleotide, Automated prediction ID, Automated prediction description, GO annotation, and GO number. Just select the type of search you want, and enter the word, ORF, or ID number you want to find in the text box on the right and press the 'Start Search' button. If you are unsure of the precise ORF or ID number, you can enter a portion of the ORF or ID you are looking for with 'contains'. Alternatively, if you know the exact name of the ORF or ID that you are looking for, you can search using 'equals'. 'Equals' will return only the exact match.
